Going GREEN for Spring!

There recently has been an addition to our Speedpro family at our studio in Westlake… a latex-ink based printer! The HP L26500 Latex Printer, which we named “Ernie”, is environmentally friendly and provides outstanding resolution levels with vibrant color. While companies all across the country are transitioning over to more “green” products, we wanted to take part in the lifestyle change and felt the timing couldn’t be any better as we are hopping into Spring! This printer with water-based latex ink is non-toxic, odorless and reduces pollution. In addition to that, it also has amazing durability and works well with laminate protection.

So what does all of this mean? Basically, we are expanding our capabilities! Not only can we print on vinyl with this printer, but now we will be able to print directly to textiles, paper and film without having to wait for the ink to dry. Yes, that’s right- “Ernie” dries IMMEDIATELY while he is printing! How cool is that?

Another big benefit of this high-tech, green printer is that it works great with our vehicle wrap products. With latex being a naturally flexible texture, it conforms better than other inks to the curves and contours of vehicle surfaces.

Having “Ernie” at our studio along with “Roxanne”, our Roland XJ-740 Solvent Printer means we can print MORE projects FASTER because we now have two large format printers! Can you say double time?

Rocky River Chamber of Commerce Award

The team here at Speedpro Imaging Cleveland West is proud to announce that we recently received the Outstanding New Member Award from The Rocky River Chamber of Commerce!

The Board of Directors selected Speedpro as the recipient of this award due to the support, dedication and volunteer work offered by business owners, Lori and Jeff Kolenich. The Kolenich’s accepted the award during the monthly chamber luncheon held at St. Demetrio’s Greek Orthodox Church January 24th 2013. As active members for three years, the Kolenich’s regularly attend events and are involved with committees within the chamber. The variety of luncheons, events and activities within the chamber are great for networking! We are so proud to be members of the Rocky River Chamber of Commerce and so thankful to be recognized for this award, hard work really does pay off!
